Lately, we haven’t had any weekend trips planned, so we have been hanging around Zürich. As much as I love travelling, it’s been nice to enjoy weekends at home. I like using my closet versus a suitcase every once in a while. But travelling sure makes you appreciate the simple joys of being at home. After a whole year in our apartment and Zürich, we’ve started to create some nice little routines.
Last year we came to New York for the Brewskeeball Championships. Yes, it’s true that my boyfriend is a skeeball high roller. Due to the many activities squeezed into a few short days, we didn’t get a chance to experience the restaurants of New York City. This year however, we decided to put skeeball on the backburner and try all the greatest restaurants NYC has to offer. We had our NYC family transplants leading the way and off we went.
Boy have I been trying to go to this restaurant for a long time now! Finally, the Thursday night dinner crew made it to Zero Zero, but on a Friday night. It was a nice day outside and I had and hour to kill, so I walked the three miles from work to the restaurant. While walking, I was entertained by my Gram on the phone who told me all about her Friday movie club that included dinner and lemon drops, all before five o’clock. Can I retire yet? Unfortunately no, I have expensive dining habits to attend to.
